Chronic illness is rarely simple. Symptoms shift, tests confuse, and answers don’t always come quickly. Over time I’ve learned something comforting: sickness can have layers. Some physical. Some emotional. Some spiritual. Often, it’s all three.
The Bible shows that God sees every part of our suffering — even the pieces doctors can’t measure. That doesn’t mean every illness is spiritual. It simply means our bodies, minds, and hearts are connected, and healing often unfolds the same way: layer by layer.
So if your journey has been long… if you still don’t have a diagnosis… or if you feel like your battle is bigger than your body — you’re not crazy, and you’re not alone.
God walks with you through every layer, even the ones still waiting to be understood.
